Superlight Performance

The shorts borrow the fast-drying crochet elastic bib straps from Assos premium SUPERLÉGERE road bib shorts. Super lightweight and super comfortable, you’ll barely know they’re there. 

The impressively comfortable zeroPressure waist construction also comes from the road, but here it’s made to be lighter, more breathable and provides support and coverage further up the tummy.

When you’ve got a long ride planned, the three back pockets offer useful storage space for essentials – particularly useful if you prefer a loose-fitting outer tee/jersey. Pocket tabs make it easier to access the contents below a jersey too.

Off-Road HP T3 Seat Pad

Using 9mm thick shock-absorbing foam layers, the Off-Road HP T3 Seat Pad is made specifically for the more upright riding position associated with gravel and mountain bikes and soaks up trail chatter. Thermoformed shapes also reduce ridges and irritation when pedalling while allowing freedom of movement, ideal when tackling sinewy singletrack.

The T3 also sees familiar Assos pad features deployed to deliver airy comfort. The goldenGate 2.0 lets the pad move with your body rather than in opposition to it. 3D Waffle, a 3-layer perforated foam, reduces weight while optimising breathability. And kratercooler technology sees perforation across the leading edge, drawing air across the pad and keeping you cooler and drier.
