It begins with use of Ale’s wind-tunnel tested ‘Aero 3D’ fabric. The engineered jacquard structure works to deliver a significant reduction in drag, keeping you slippery through the air as your speed rises. But not just that, Aero 3D’s elasticity and recovery boost muscle compression, encouraging improved blood flow and venous return.

Lightweight Comfort

Complementing the aero fabric is lightweight ‘Speedy’ fabric. Thanks to its low weight it feels barely there while its excellent breathability keeps you feeling cooler and fresher when the pace increases. An orthogonal woven structure enhances durability and at the same time gives the ideal degree of muscle support and compression.

Y-Air Bib System

With their Y-Air Bib System, Ale has increased rider comfort by lessening the contact area between straps and skin. With more skin open to the air, both breathability and ventilation are improved, but thanks to the Y-shaped back, the short’s stability and position are maintained perfectly. Soft microfibre straps also promote a feeling of lightweight and freshness.

Men’s 8H+ EVO seat pad

Using dual-density padding, the Men’s 8H+ EVO seat pad gives superb comfort and support for rides up to and exceeding 8 hours in length. A true endurance product, maximum support is reserved for areas that feel the greatest pressure when you’re on the saddle. Elsewhere, lower-density foam keeps mobility high.

Perforations maintain excellent breathability and airflow while flexible wings allow for easy freedom of movement as you pedal and for when you’re jumping in and out of the saddle for sprints and hill climbs.
